Christopher Hawver is the man behind Woodsmith Rustic Furniture.

Now in its ninth year, the company continues to grow by making sturdy, affordable camp, home, lodge and garden furnishings. Christopher is known for his work with Mountain Laurel, Northern White and Eastern Red Cedar, and most recently, Yellow Birch. Additionally, he works in the traditional Adirondack style using applied birch bark and twig mosaic working with embossed and antiqued birch bark techniques.

 

A former Executive Chef at the White Horse Tavern in Newport, Rhode Island, Christopher now cooks with wood. According to Jerry O'Brien of the Providence Journal Bulletin, Christopher Hawver has, "...a need for fresh ingredients, an attention to color and texture, and a passion for total involvement in the work." Christopher encourages visits to the woodshop located minutes off Interstate 95 in central Rhode Island. Just call first!
